There’s a Japanese Show About a Samurai and the Adorable Cat He Wouldn’t Assassinate
It’s a classic Hollywood story: an assassin on a job can’t go through with it when he meets his would-be victim, then the two form an unlikely friendship against their common enemy.
It’s a pretty reliable trope, although it can be hard finding new ways to keep it fresh. But that not a problem for one Japanese show, which had the greatest version of this story we’ve ever come across:
The amazing tale of the friendship between a samurai and the adorable cat he refused to kill.
Neko zamurai (translation Samurai Cat), which we only just learned about at Reddit, was a Japanese TV mini-series that ran for two seasons from 2013 to 2015.
It followed Madarame Kyutaro, known as Madara the Devil, a “humorless samurai, nearly desperate for work” who agrees to kill Tomanojo, the cat “accused of possessing a man’s soul.”
One problem, though: when he actually saw the adorable little kitten, his Katana became a Kan’t-ana, so he took Tomanojo home with him.

Conclusion
Cats make wonderful and funny companions. Those who visit MM might be able to see similar GIFs and pictures that resemble events that they too have experienced. This is just a fun post, and I do hope that you all enjoyed it.

I was curious to know your opinion about adopting/buying a cat.
As I was telling, I adopted a kitten(Tonalli), which probably had a very rough start .. anyway she needs a company, I am not opening an asylum, but I think two or maybe three cats at home is something I can cope with now:) and I believe its good for them as well. So I am looking at that. Now, I always had something, a connection with a special kind of cats, an intelligent and beautiful cat. a Bengal cat. Now I have the opportunity ( economically) to get a Bengal kitten to make a company for Tonalli.
But, this cats, as other breed cats are being sold. now, buying a cat when you have so many cats who needs a home.. One might say it is more moral to adopt an abandoned kitten, I would agree. Yet you can adopt ten, and still there would be many.. And kittens of special breed deserves too, a good home and someone to love them.
It may sound a strange question, but for me it is not as simple. I will appreciate your opinion in that matter. Thanks.
I have had a household full, just full of cats. Some were “rescues”, some were “bought as is” (I felt pity for an old cat at Pet Smart who no one would buy and who lived in the window for almost a year). Some were gifts. Some just walked in and stayed. And one was a very amazing pure breed that I bought. As it “called to me”.
Money has no bearing on a cat. You must trust your feelings and your instincts. Not your intellect.
Their soul; quantum make up will merge with yours in certain ways and they will be able to “take the edge” off your life in so many ways. Besides, they will clear your home of mice, rodents and cockroaches. Yay!

I do miss my two special girls I lost this year.
Largely because of their passing I’ve moved to a much nicer area and far nicer place but I can’t have pets anymore.
I consider this time a chrysalis period and I’m sure I’ll be back to having my life run by cats (as it should be) once again when I settle down, once I get wherever it is I’m going.
They seemed to know things were about to change for me and I feel I had their blessing to move on.
I look forward to meeting aspects of them again in future kitties. I wonder when and where that will be..

My black cat Hajj shuffled off the mortal coil exactly one year before my Dad did. I saw Hajj out of the corner of my eye (around the house) for months afterwards.
I believe cats are supernatural creatures. I believe each one is here with an assignment. I’ve been lucky enough to find out that some of them have been assigned to help me!
