Did you know that we even have our very own product lines? Yup. We do. And our “flagship” lines are those associated with bathroom accessories.
We have a large constellation of factories that manufacture showers, bath furniture, and ceramics that we work with. And typically we work with customers to devise specific designs for specific customer segments through our factories. This is our traditional business. You can view what we can do here…
But, we also have our own product lines.
These products include a wide range of bath-ware and accessories. This line up of ready-made, and available products is available now for personal branding or as an alternative branding opportunity.
Some background
You might be interested in how we came to have these product lines.
Since 2016, trade between the United States and China went downhill. It actually went from “most favored trading partner” to “enemy”. Then, in 2018, America started to apply a set of 25% tariffs on all products made within China. And as a result of this, some American companies decided to relocate their product lines out of China.
In almost all cases, the tooling, the fixtures, the assembly lines, the trained workers, the assembly and quality protocols all stayed in China. They were left behind and abandoned. Functionally, the American companies either [1] abandoned the factories and assembly lines completely, or [2] sold off the tooling to the factories that made them.
I refer to these products as “orphans“. They are abandoned assembly operations, tooling, talent, systems, and suppliers.
And guess who purchased and bought up those “orphans”? Yup. It’s us at Smoking Lion. And that is how we came to have our own product lines.
The distribution of these products
But, you know, America is not the only nation of consumers in the world. And there are other nations that find these products just as attractive, just as durable, and just as stylish as Americans do.
Thus, these products are still being sold, and there is a market for them.
It’s just that they are no longer profitable to be made in China and sold to the United States consumer. However, they are well made, durable, beautiful in appearance and well received in Asia, Europe and Africa.
We have taken over these “orphaned” products, and are busy selling them to clients all over the world. One of our “flagship” products is a bathroom accessory kit.

FLAGSHIP-PRODUCT
The JT-series of Bathroom Towel Holders & Accessory Kits
This is a premium grade product, (initially) designed and (initially) manufactured for a high-end American bath-ware company. The various lines have been in continuous production of over ten years, and are considered to be a mature, well-evolved product line.
There are two different types. This is the JT-001, and the JT-002.
The JT-001 comes in two different finishes, matte black and matte silver. The JT-002 comes in three different finishes; matte black, matte silver, and bright silver.
Additionally, the JT-002 is further differentiated by three versions (B, S, and T). Which describe the cross sectional shapes of the rod stock used.
The Assembly Kits
Each assembly comes boxed in high quality dense polystyrene foam form with assembly instructions, and all components easily identified and located. Each part is securely positioned for safety during movement, shipping and handling.
Each kit consists of the following items;
- A “flat surface” style towel rack. [1]
- A long bar towel rack. [2]
- Towel / clothing hook bar with five hooks. [3]
- A toilet tissue holder with flat upper surface. [4]
- Two (x2) triangular wall shelves. [5]
- A glass toilet brush holder. [6]
- A mounting frame for the toilet brush. [7]
- A toilet brush with a replaceable brush head. [8]
- Assembly instructions. [9]
- Mounting screws and related hardware. [10]
All the parts needed for mounting and installation are included with the kit.
JT-001 Towel Rack & Accessories
We manufacture the JT-001 series of Towel Racks and bathroom accessories. This product is made out of robust aluminum bar stock. The bars are precision shaped to exacting angles and high tolerances. These are fine, well made, quality products. We offer them at reasonable prices, with options on logos, assembly instructions and box art.
JT-002 Towel Rack & Accessories
We also manufacture the JT-002 series of Towel Racks and bathroom accessories. This product line has more diversity. It consists of three variations (B, S, and T) with three different finishes for each. These products are machined out of solid aluminum bar and rod stock. The over all “feeling” and appearance is one of robust substance. Like the JT-001 series, these are fine, well made, quality products. We offer them at reasonable prices, with options on logos, assembly instructions and box art.
JT-002B Towel Rack
The “B” designation refers to the shape of the bar rod. The “B” rod is a solid octagonal rod with eight sides as shown. The end of the rod is machined metal with the bevels as shown. This is NOT a plastic end-cap that you might find on cheaper products. This is a solid bar stock as shown.
This product line comes in three finishes.
JT-002S Towel Rack
The “S” designation refers to the shape of the bar rod. This towel rack is made out of a square rod as shown. The ends are nicely ground and beveled as shown.
This product line comes in three finishes.
JT-002T Towel Rack
The “T” designation refers to the shape of the bar rod. In this design the solid bar stock is an oval shape (actually rectangular with full radii on the small opposing sides). Like the other design variations, the ends are ground and beveled nicely and smartly.
