There are arguments pro an con for the material selection of material cabinetry in hospital and emergency settings. Unless specified, specifically, by the architect, aluminum is the best solution for normal day-to-day use in the storage and utility of hospital and emergency equipment. Durability. Along with being stronger than aluminum, stainless steel is far more durable. It holds up in corrosive environments and is less likely to scratch.
