Today, this post will be one of my you-tube videos. I believe that it is critically important that everyone understand and appreciate what a Rufus is, and how it manifests. While I talk a lot about it, it means much more than heroic action. It means compassion and understanding, and to stand up for the little guy.
Many of the snippets are in Chinese, and the dialog is in Chinese, but you can guess what is going on and infer the dialog.
- One is a daughter …
- One is an employee…
- One is a relative…
The dialog can get confusing in the translation. Translation is from the Wechat scan function, switched to translate into English.
A Rufus builds people up. They don’t tear them down.
A Rufus stands by the downtrodden and supports them.
A Rufus accepts people as they are.
The roles are not important.
What is important is whether these people are making the world a better place, or are they being selfish, demanding, uncaring and obstinate.
Watch for yourself.
Then, pay attention to the reactions of the innocent bystanders who overhear the discussion. Watch them leap into action as only a real Rufus would…
I hope you all can understand what is going on…
Hi there, it is so very rewarding to see a more positive approach to your postings!
I just came back from a little rufus situation myself, and it just feels good.
My SO and me were de-cluttering the house, and i had a sack ful of sand-toys in the trunk
which I had to bring to the trash, alon with a truck load of other things.
The toys were used but in good condition – i had a somehow bad feeling to just throw them away… fortunately, the recycling yrad didn’t take them, so I had them in the trunk all along.
On the way to my next appointment, the kindergarden lay on my way,
so it struck to just ask them if they would take them.
Oh and how gladly they did –
I could just unload them there, I was surrounded by 5-8 Kids which immediately started playing the toys. AndI am so happy that I could bring the stuff to another good use.
Have a nice weekend, everyone!
Best regards, MT
What a story! Two days ago, my kindergarten teacher asked all of us (parents of the kids in her class) if we had any old books, or toys that we could donate to the school. Well, my wife saw this as a win-win, teach the daughter how to play with others, and de-clutter the house at the same time. What a wonderful things! Kudos to you, and to Ms MM.
To those of you who have junk sitting around, you can donate it to schools, churches, and others. It’s a fine Rufus action, if ever there was!
Big thumbs up to that!
Get out of self.
Think about and do for others.
Do unto others as …
As we forgive those …

Simple. Not easy.
I really like this joint you have. Good place to stop by for a cup of Spirit.
