Quote from Mirri on November 27, 2022, 5:01 pm@watertiger that looked like fun!!! I can imagine these guys being 16-18, having had a drink and then jumping the bog. I had a good laugh yesterday evening, thank you!!!
@tas i like all variations, i guess i just have different memories connected to each version, some more on the nicer side than others. And i agree, music connects, i think just as much as food does.
On the topic of originals and covers how about "Fall at your feet"? I think the original is Crowded House: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ROiU9kOHeEbut Jesse Cooks cover I like better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibggo2ygmAw
Ha, all those pipes must vibrate in your belly if you are there in person!! Awesome.

Quote from Tas on November 27, 2022, 5:06 pmMy all time favourite "Sax" song Alice. Ice House is an Australian band that has been around for as long as I can remember, and that's a fair way back being the wrinkly old bugger that I am. I love the intro, it's mellowness.

Quote from Tas on November 27, 2022, 5:12 pmHey Mirri,
They do, you can feel them pass through you. It's most excellent indeed. We have smaller local pipe bands here in Tassie and I used to follow then drop the street just to "feel" them. I have to go attend some things ready for the working week and will listen to what you posted tomorrow. Cheers mate.

Quote from Tas on November 27, 2022, 5:32 pmBefore I run I have an excuse to post a "Big Country" track. BC were an 80's Scottish guitar band, I loved them in my youth.
Roxy Music "Prairie Rose"

Big Country "Prairie Rose"

I think both are pretty cool hey in their own ways. Cheers

Quote from Alice on November 28, 2022, 4:29 am@watertiger I forgot to post this picture yesterday after I watched your video I found this little guy hanging out under the pool in the monkey’s pins. 👀 He was so tiny! I love him. I call him squishy. (No I didn’t squish him - moved him to a better location because he was in the savage Capuchin Spanky’s crate and had Spanks found him - he probably would have tried to smash him open like a coconut and then his name would have been squished).
@tas I’m digging Big Country’s version
