Here’s a mixtures of videos describing Rufus behaviors. When I mean being the Rufus, I mean contributing to society. I mean putting it out there, being helpful. Being kind. Refraining from anger. Refraining defensively when provoked. I means being the best you that YOU can be. Be that Rufus.
The term “Rufus” is well known to long time visitors to MM. It describes service-to-others (STO) sentience and the related behaviors rather than the service-for-self (STS) sentience behaviors of the vast bulk of humanity. The details on sentience selection and why it is important are sprinkled throughout the Majestic Index.
Rufus is a state of behavior. A Rufus puts the community before him / her self. They do things without a profit motive of any type. They are kind, helpful and when they walk down the street they smile at people and make them feel good.
In some ways, being a Rufus lends itself to heroic actions, but in other ways it refers to being a significant person located in a geographic region.
While the rest of the world scrambles and claws towards money and power, and leaves a destitute and stripped world behind, a Rufus nurtures the world. He / she uses their creative abilities to make the world a better place.

Rufus park amusements
When your government supports the community, then the community provides a stable and healthy environment to exist, work and play in. Part of that is having amusements and other free things for the community to us. None of which are a for-profit model. video 4MB

Great stuff MM. My favourite is the Rufus Husband and the way it all happens so naturally.
I truly believe most IS-BEs are STO at heart. Societal conditioning and even pre-birth conditioning seem to mask it in most.
Once the Domain figures out a way to fix “Heaven” and educate/free those “Prime Mantids” from their awful work I imagine IS-BEs will be graduating this hellhole in droves.
I have observed so many STAs around doing good work but controlled by their religion. Freed from that. surely they default to STOs?
I see that you remember at least one past life MM. I guess in the end, only kindness matters. Would it be possible to expand on how remembering past lives changes your perspective on how you view things? I could speculate but that would be a pale shadow of the real deal.
For me, the ability to remember past lives changes how one views and treats others completely. And thinking about how in a prison complex, one’s memories is repeated wipe is actually a true brutality and horror. The thought of this fills me with inexplicable pain and sadness actually.
Why be a brute when you can be be an actual human? Because amnesia brutalizes us and robs every human of an actual sense of purpose. Over and over again. Your little post on the forum really moved me in so many ways.
Thank you for that. I know a few of my previous incarnations. I will tell you that for the most part I really wasn’t anyone special. One life I tend goats. Another was a teacher in ancient Greece. Mostly I inhabited male bodies. Knowing some of our past makes us more humane and understanding and compassionate. I am glad that you got something out of my background.
Hello, I suppose that in the path of rufus there is also a moment, where rufus gives the key to the path, of course in action but also direct or indirect teaching, fundamental example: explaining long-term stunts sharing knowledge rufus so that the other understands it and reproduces it in turn, will not teach it by heart of the first of the class but with the logical tool and which surpasses the short-term horizon or of the STA. Like the yarn you give us. We will all end up sharing the rufus seed on several levels, that it will evolve in different ways and in magnitude depending on the IS BE throughout the appropriate lessons over the experiences.
