Meditation- to any one who tried and failed..
Quote from Goldleaf on August 5, 2021, 5:27 amMeditation has become an important part of my day. I missed my regular morning meditation the other day due to a really early meeting at work and boy did I feel it! It's worse than missing a workout. I'm up to 20 minutes twice a day and the peace/clarity it provides cannot be beat. My husband has continued meditating with me in the evenings and I think he's hooked 🙂
I haven't had any contact or visitation during meditation yet. I have seen some neat imagery though. Color blobs are pretty common as is geometric shapes/designs. Last night I was shown what I believe was an asteroid field.
I did not get to hemi sync this past weekend as I'd originally planned. It's downloaded and ready to go for this upcoming weekend.
I swear I experience synchronicity almost daily since beginning affirmations. It's.... actually pretty great now that I know what's going on 🙂
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Quote from congjing yu on August 5, 2021, 7:42 amThere are different programs using Hemi-sync. Some are guided meditation, others are calming and centering exercises, and some are for exploration of the non-physical world. It seems to me that meditation is really quite useful for you. So perhaps you should try the Hemi-Sync guided mediation series.
Don't worry too much as out of the body stuff. It won't happen to you if you are not ready for it. So relax and be the best you that you can be.

Quote from pissedlizard on August 5, 2021, 9:52 am@Goldleaf -YES! - THAT - how when you missed it but you felt it - that’s how I KNEW to go on. I would skip a day because I had a ton of stuff to do - and BAM - like I mentally/physically feel it. Like driving all day and all night. You pull into a hotel and you FEEL it.
Keep going. Just listen to MM and peoples advice and don’t give up! Seriously!

Quote from Goldleaf on August 6, 2021, 3:14 am@pissedlizard Absolutely! This is for life.
@laoban4site Now I definitely need to try out hemi-sync this weekend. The Munroe Institute offers some free ones in addition to the ones you've provided. I have my homework.
Remember my vision of asteroids during meditation I mentioned? Had the synchronicity for that. During a staff meeting this morning, when we talk about some random stuff before really getting started, one of the team members with an astronomy hobby let us all know that the Perseids meteor shower peaks next week for our area of the world if we want to check it out. No coincidences.

Quote from Goldleaf on August 8, 2021, 6:22 amI tried hemi-sync!
First attempt did not go as planed. I lasted 7 minutes. It gave me a headache and all 3 cats decided that mom was going to solve their interpersonal problems and erupted in a fight not quite in my lap but pretty darn close. Not sure their actions were related to me or something going on with them but I took that + the headache as my sign to let myself rest.
Several hours later I went ahead and used one of Munroe Institute's free hemi-sync guided meditations for balance. I just went through the list and that's the one that spoke to me. It was an amazing experience. I need to check but I think it was around 15 minutes total. I felt much lighter the rest of the day and was in a fantastic mood - nothing bothered me, it was a wonderful feeling of well being and joyfulness. I also tired easily. Healing and learning is tough work, weather physical or metaphysical. I'm going to experiment with using the hemi-sync meditation in the morning and traditional non-hemi meditations in the evenings for the next week and see what happens.

Quote from congjing yu on August 9, 2021, 8:09 amFantastic! Keep it up. All of this is very PERSONAL. What works for one person might not work for the next person. So we need to find what works for each of us individually and then explore from that defined point.

Quote from pissedlizard on August 9, 2021, 8:57 pm@goldleaf - It’s cool, right? The Hemi-Sync. I use them all the time. What I noticed is where it would take a few minutes for my mind to “settle in”, after using the Hemi-Sync method for about a few weeks as soon as the noise starts my mind just “clicks in” and I go right down the hole.
Keep at it!

Quote from Satellite Conspiracy on August 9, 2021, 10:45 pm@goldleafI’m kind of a stress ball, so it’s hard for me to get in that meditative state. I’m always wondering what’s going on in the next room. I tried a couple of the hemi-sync recordings this weekend and the first really got me close to that weird semi-conscious state. For some reason the ones from the Monroe Institute just didn’t do it. It’s cool to read what other people are experiencing.

Quote from Goldleaf on August 9, 2021, 11:19 pm@satellite-conspiracy Good to hear you're giving it a try. Like MM said above, it's so personal which method will end up working for you. Once you figure it out, I'd love to hear about it.

Quote from Goldleaf on August 13, 2021, 4:30 amI think I took another step in progression in my evening meditation yesterday. It's the first time where I lost all awareness of my body while in a meditative state. It's really hard to describe. The space behind my eyes which has already been 3d elongated, like it took on another dimension, and I followed along a "tunnel" of sorts though I'm not sure that's really the right word. When I stopped I observed a playful light that would light/fade, divide and then kind of dance. The area was beautiful, vibrant dark purples with a touches of green. The light was white and perfectly round. Again, hard to describe. It's made me debate adding a line to my affirmations on becoming an artist so I can draw/paint some of these things in a journal. Words just doesn't do it justice.
