Hello everyone and a newbie LD question

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Thank you @goldleaf, I will repost the dream part in the dream share thread, to keep all the dreams together.

@linda I am glad you are getting some thing out of it and yes I agree, it can get quite exciting at times.

@watertiger no need to be embarrassed. We take a somewhat objective approach here when it comes to dreams. We are more interested in studying them for their composition than judging people for something they don't really have any control over. While it is hard to determine what it could mean, I can see that it left an impression on you which tells me that it was significant.  I have definitely had my fair share of dreams with similar substance that have not been "standard" dreams.

Thanks @daegonmagus.

I have a question, not sure if you can help me and no worries if not but do you have any tips on remembering dreams? I just do not remember them, it's like I don't dream at all. It has always been this way and I can count on 2 hands the amount of times I've remembered a dream.

Do you know anything about this? Big ask but I have to start somewhere lol. 🙂

@linda do you find yourself fatigued or stressed much? I have found this seems to play a big role in whether or not i'll remember my dreams. Since having kids, my environment has been chaotic, and I have noticed a steady decline in dreams, particularly lucid ones, but even the normal ones aren't as frequent and once again it seems to correlate with the more chaotic periods. Also I suggest getting a journal and recording al your dreams in it in as much detail as you can remember, even if it is not much. even if it you recording "last night, i didn't dream, again". this will hopefully train your subconsciounsess to start taking notice of your dreams

Hey @daegonmagus

No, my life is pretty stress-free other than the life events that we're all going through now but even before then I just don't dream. It's frustrating. However, you make a good point and I'm going to start keeping a journal and I agree this may jolt something away in myself. Will keep you updated and thank you for the reply.

Thanks for this info, guys. I never remember much about my dreams, either. Especially in my adult years and always slept easily no matter what was/is going on in the day to day.

But over the last few months I've had some darn well lucid dreams about cats. New ones, and the old crew I left behind relocating back East. And I mean lucid; colours, smells, sounds and detail.

I think my old crew are trying to contact me or I'm picking up on their sense of curiosity since to their minds I must have just disappeared. And I don't dream nearly so lucidly about anything else. As I've said just snippets and more often than not in black and white.

Cats, eh? So pushy they can even infiltrate the Dream Time.
