Dream share
Quote from daegonmagus on November 23, 2021, 7:33 am@memory-loss that's weird. I had a similar dream a few weeks ago - the one that I was reading text off this forum and it told me my date of death.
@alice again weird. Myself and my wife were watching lord of the rings last night - the one with Galadriel in it (we just finished watchign the Hobbit trilogy of the past 6 days as it has a tendancy to help us lucid dream for some reason). I also remember that I had to pull lord of the rings out of the rack in the consciousness programming facility - i know there is significance here but i don't know what it is

Quote from Memory Loss on November 23, 2021, 8:01 am@daegonmagus, hmmm. The wall of text I couldn't read and remember unfortunately. The earlier one had a sequence, it went <event(s) > <some forum members > <triggers>.
I think @alice had one in which she was reading the forum but it intruded onto her reality 😳. So hers crossed over from dream world. Quite staggering.
The LOTR, I'm thinking much of the Elvish script is translated in some of some of Tolkien's writings. Do the script bear resemblance to the stuff you encounter in LD, dae?

Quote from daegonmagus on November 23, 2021, 8:06 amAlice, just saw your other post you tagged me in. Goldleaf seems to be exceptionally good at using the dream state to RV. I said that people would start to "magnetise" a few weeks ago and this is sort of what I meant. It seems you guys are starting to operate as a hive mind. Goldleaf, do you go into the void space before these experiences by any chance?

Quote from daegonmagus on November 23, 2021, 8:23 am@memory-loss no the scripts I see are English. I know they are important because usually it is very, very difficult for me to read any sort of text in my dreams; it's like their a hazy fog put over the words so I can never quite see them. The one i had that mentioned my death (which was the same date the Unseen 5 contacted me), my wife had this exact same wall of text come to her with the exact same message several years ago - except my name was replaced with hers, and it wasn't from the MM forum

Quote from Goldleaf on November 23, 2021, 8:54 am@dori2190 Hmm. Maybe on accident? I've been letting myself get into a semi-meditative state as I slip off to sleep for a while now. Usually it's so relaxing I fall asleep before going full meditation. Do you think that would do it?
Not sure if we're a hive mind exactly. We definitely appear to have channels open or opening.

Quote from daegonmagus on November 23, 2021, 9:12 am@goldleaf yeah this would do it. Not the void space (you'll know when you are in it, feels like you are falling, but not just a quick jolt you wake up from). What is your meditation process if I may ask. It seems like you are tapping into Alice's M-Band noise right before falling asleep. This is essentially how I hijacked my wife's dream

Quote from Memory Loss on November 23, 2021, 9:14 am@dori2190, probably not a Borg hive mind but even today, we do seem to be subject to the 100th monkey effect. When an idea is sufficiently saturated in a community, suddenly it is adopted by the majority. A meme kinda effect and in that sense probably what a collective consciousness might actually be. Maybe a common library, I dunno.

Quote from daegonmagus on November 23, 2021, 10:02 am@memory-loss I am fairly positive the void space can be used to create a hive dream mind. This is what I am working towards with my lessons in LD anyway. As Carl Jung put it, the collective unconsciousness....except I want to make it the collective consciousness

Quote from Mirri on November 23, 2021, 4:58 pmI feel late to the party...
@alice I also have 5 chickens, and a huge white rooster. And I also always thought about them as little Raptors, especially when they caught a snake and ate it. And we do have tin roofs as well. But no trash lying around.
@goldleaf I also had a few dreams last night. I also needed to write them down, one seemed important to me, I just remember mathematicians calculating an event for probability but I forgot what event, and I was confused why my Mom would work with them...anyhow I had nothing to write and now most of it is gone...
@dori2190 I encountered Tolkien yesterday aswell. But I was looking into the Kalevala (finnish folklore) and the guy was talking about how Tolkien got inspiration from the Kalevala.
oh and @alice again... funny that with Maleficent and Galadriel...when I get angry, I imagine myself as the Galadriel when Frodo offers her the Ring.

Quote from Goldleaf on November 23, 2021, 8:52 pm@dori2190 First I get comfortable. I know it sounds obvious but I think it bears mentioning. If I'm not in a good position it can wreck my whole nights sleep with tossing and turning because I didn't find that comfortable position first. Then I slow my breathing to 6 seconds in and 6 seconds out. I breathe that way for several breaths, concentrating on my breathing. If my brain isn't over active thinking about thoughts from the day, that's usually enough to let me slip into the beginning stages of meditation where I'll see colors or points of light. If my brain is still over active, I'll try to do the exercise of quiet mind you posted in your first LD lesson. Sometimes I just have to let the thoughts float on by until they're done. Trying to force the thoughts away just doesn't work for me. Sometimes I'll go to a volumetric darkness - darkness that has palpable volume - this is a terrible description but hope you know what I mean - before falling asleep, though that's rare. If I hit the void, I don't remember it or it doesn't act the way you've experienced it for me. I mostly float in that space. No falling sensation.
